Meet Baykar
Hi I'm Baykar and the salon is my baby! I have been a hairdresser for over 18 years and it is my one true passion.
Having learnt my trade working in many prestigious salons internationally, when I met my now business partner, Claire, in 2014, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to open Baykar London. Starting in Queens Park in October 2014, as we expanded we relocated to much larger premises in West Hampstead in August 2018.
I am so proud of what we do here at the salon, we have such amazing loyal clients and every day someone new walks through the door and joins that list. In fact, it has been said that once you have been on my chair you will never go anywhere else... :-) That didn't come from me, but I'll take it!
Whether it's a simple tidy up or a complete new style, my only goal is to make you feel at home and leave the salon with a smile on your face!

My family and I have been coming to Baykar for years. We have all moved out of London and still travel to be seen by him, I would never trust anyone else with my hair. He is always so friendly and professional and you receive such an incredible experience whilst you are there. My daughter has Special Needs and the time and consideration she receives from Baykar and his team is amazing. I cannot recommend Baykar or his salon enough!

Had a really great haircut at Baykar's today, first visit there. Baykar really listens and takes his time, and he is a clearly extremely knowledgeable and experienced and just into doing great hair and making you feel good about it. The whole salon has a super friendly vibe, is very welcoming, and I'll be back again soon!
