For over a decade, Baykar London has been a destination for authentic, high-end hairdressing in North West London. Founded by Creative Director Baykar and Business Director Claire, our salon is known for its "understated luxury"—premium results without the intimidating atmosphere. We specialize in bespoke Balayage, Hair Botox, Keratin treatments, and curly hair. We are looking for an ambitious, professional freelance stylist to join our creative family.

The Opportunity

We are offering a space for talented, self-employed stylists who wants the freedom of running their own business within a beautiful, supportive, and established salon environment. This is an ideal move for a stylist with an existing London clientele looking for a premium "home" for their brand.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Excellence: Providing high-quality cutting, styling, and technical services (e.g., Balayage, Colouring, Treatments) that align with the Baykar London standard.
Client Consultation: Conducting thorough, professional consultations to ensure hair health and client satisfaction.
Salon Standards: Maintaining a clean and organized workstation; ensuring a premium experience for your clients that complements the salon’s peaceful and friendly atmosphere.
Professionalism: Operating with the reliability and passion that our award-winning reputation is built on.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of salon experience (Senior Stylist level preferred).
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hairdressing.
Legal Status: Must be registered as self-employed with HMRC.
Insurance: Must hold valid Public Liability and Treatment Risk insurance.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio (Instagram/Social Media) demonstrating technical skill, particularly in contemporary colouring and styling.
Clientele: An existing client base in London is highly desirable.
